Jens Paulus, born in Germany and currently based in Barcelona, studied Industrial Design at HfG Offenbach, Germany and Furniture Design in Finland at the University of Art and Design Helsinki. He is a freelance designer who has been specializing in Yacht Interior Design and Furniture Design.

Joshua Space, born in the US and living in Pittsburgh, studied Industrial Design at Carnegie Mellon and Industrial & Strategic Design in Finland at the University of Art and Design Helsinki. Since, he has practiced exhibit design, product design, and sculpture. Recent work includes lighting design and immersive light-based installations that seek to facilitate meditative space. Jens and Joshua began creating sculpture with ice and snow in 2001 while being in northern Finland at Lake Inari. Inspired by the magical phenomena of the north and the impressive vast landscapes of Lapland they wished to return one day and work together again on a project related to the arctic environment.
